My girlfriend is a crossfit lover. For her birthday I decided to make her a simple WOD (workout of the day) generator.
Halfway through the process of prototyping the generator for no particular reason I decided to give it a heavy metal twist.
The result is a pretty simple random exercise routine generator that anybody can use.
How?
The code involved is pretty simple. I made a javascript routine generator with an embedded difficulty calculator. I then used this routine inside a VueJS powered frontend to control all the UI interaction and timing.
Vue is great to quickly prototype and iterate over a frontend user interface.
